AI Software Engineer

A well-funded, next-generation engineering firm is building an AI-powered platform to automate structural and MEP design. They are backed by leading investors including Khosla Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, and Tishman Speyer, and have raised $17M in Series A funding. They’re looking for an AI Software Engineer to join their growing team.

The role will focus on building and orchestrating agentic AI systems that power their proprietary engineering platform. You’d work closely with software engineers and structural and MEP experts to build AI-driven tools that automate traditionally manual engineering workflows.

The work will include:
Building and orchestrating multi-agent AI systems for complex engineering workflows.

Developing backend services, APIs, and infrastructure that support AI-powered design automation.

Working with Python and modern AI frameworks to build reliable, scalable production systems.

Collaborating closely with software engineers, AI engineers, and structural and MEP experts.

Taking ownership across the stack in a small, fast-moving engineering team.

Has built and orchestrated multi-agent AI systems for complex engineering workflows.

Has developed backend services, APIs, and infrastructure that support AI-powered design automation.

Has worked with Python and modern AI frameworks to build reliable, scalable production systems.

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
